Digital Subscriber Line Access Module
(DSLAM, or Digital Subscriber Line Access Multiplexer) The generic term for the Central Office (CO) equipment where xDSL lines are terminated. The multiple DSL signals may be multiplexed onto a wideband channel such as ATM.
