Do What the Fuck You Want to Public License

(WTFPL) An obscenely permissive license for software and other scientific or artistic works. As the name suggests, the WTFPL does not restrict what you can do with the licenced work at all. The only restriction on the use of the license itself is that if you change it you also change the name.

The WTFPL aims to expose and remove the problems of the popular but competing GPL and BSD licences.

Since, according to its own terms, the license can be completely ignored, it can be little more than an amusing paradox.

Unlicense is a more serious template for dedicating software to the public domain.
